Maintaining Your Fencing Weapon

What you'll need:

• A clean cloth

• Pro-Tech Weapon oil

• Fencing weapon

Step 1: Prepare your items. Pro-Tech Weapon Oil, your fencing blade, and a clean cloth.

Step 2: Clean the blade. Make sure your fencing blade is clean and dry before applying oil.

Step 3: Apply oil to the cloth. Put 2-3 sprays of oil onto your clean cloth.

Step 4: Wipe the blade with the oiled cloth. Gently wipe the oiled cloth along the entire length of the blade, on both sides, ensuring a thin, even coat.

Step 5: Wipe off excess oil. Use a clean part of the cloth to wipe off any excess oil. The blade should have a thin, protective sheen, not be dripping wet.

Step 6: Store the oiled weapon. Store your oiled fencing weapon in your fencing bag or in a dry, safe place.
