💡 Essential Equipment Care & Safety
Fencing gear is a vital investment in your safety, and proper care keeps it performing at its best while protecting your UltraCare Warranty coverage.
Air It Out: Never leave damp gear inside a zipped bag. Sweat rusts steel blades and ruins delicate body wires.
Wash Cold, Air-Dry: Zip all velcro/zippers, wash cold on gentle, and hang to dry. No bleach, fabric softener, or dryers—these destroy the protective safety fibers.
Store Correctly: Keep weapons unbent. Hang or loosely roll electric jackets (lamés) instead of crushing them at the bottom of your bag.
